Lichtenstein Center for the Arts

The Lichtenstein Center for the Arts is Pittsfield’s city-owned community arts center, featuring nine artist studios, a ceramics studio, community room, and the only white-walled art gallery in Pittsfield featuring changing exhibitions, classes, performances and more! The Lichtenstein is named in honor of Kitty Lichtenstein, an extraordinary arts benefactor in the Pittsfield community and beyond who donated this building to the City. Gallery hours: Wednesday-Friday 11am-3pm

DECEMBER
Annual Art Wreath Auction

Saturday, December 6, 2025
4-6pm

Join the Office of Cultural Development and dozens of local artists in the 11th annual Wreath Art Auction to benefit the Pittsfield Community Food Pantry, Saturday, December 6th from 4-6pm. Grab and go wreaths are available starting at 4pm and we will auction the top items at 5:30pm.

JJ Tobin: Mixed Bag

JJ Tobin, a painter and sculptor, will present geometric abstractions. Tobin’s large-scale murals can be found around the cityscape of Pittsfield.
