Small Batch Salon: Mike Denton, Bowling Alone

This month, we’ll be joined in conversation by Rev. Mike Denton of the United Church of Christ, Pittsfield. We’ll be talking about the book Bowling Alone, and the necessity of (re)building resilient communities.
In celebration of this event, we’ll also be releasing a custom pale ale called “Bricolage.” Named for the art form of making new objects out of broken materials, we felt that this “scrap beer” made from leftover ingredients symbolizes the act of community building.
Proceeds from the sale of this beer will go to the Non-Profit Center of the Berkshires.
