View the slideshow to check out photos from past parades and find inspiration for your creations! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDid you know the Pittsfield Halloween Parade started in the mid-1940s? It has a long history dating back to the days when General Electric and other local businesses created elaborate and spooky floats and marched down North Street. The parade officially moved to Tyler Street in 2011. \nHaving been a beloved tradition for almost 80 years\, the Pittsfield Halloween Parade continues to bring out the spooky spirit of the community each October! This family-friendly event features creative floats\, costumed school children\, local marching bands\, community groups and more – all decked out in Halloween flair. Whether you’re marching\, volunteering\, or watching from the sidelines\, the Pittsfield Halloween Parade is a can’t-miss event that captures the heart and imagination of the city.
