Join the Office of Cultural Development as we kick of the 2023 3rd Thursday season. Sponsored by General Dynamics, this free evening will host performances by Scoil Rince Breifne O Ruairc dancers, Kids 4 Harmony, an excerpt performance of Berkshire Theatre Group’s Magic Tree House – The Knight at Dawn, the Funk Box Studio Dancers and much more. There will be group bike rides being lead from the park as part of Bike Month. Food trucks and dozens of vendors will adorn the park, along with Balloon Ben creating fun animals for the kids.

Third Thursday to Return Next Week in Pittsfield.
Festival to be Held May 18 at The First Street Common.
Pittsfield, Mass – Third Thursday is back! The festival will return on Thursday, May 18 from 5-8pm on the Common on First Street for its 17th season. This month’s theme is youth. The evening will highlight entertainment on the mainstage while activities, food and vendors fill the park. It is the first of four season events.
The presenting sponsor is General Dynamics Mission Systems. They will be offering an interactive plant a seed experiment live at the Common.
Berkshire Family YMCA will be leading family activities in the lawn of the Common, Balloon Ben will be offering balloon animal creations for free and the Berkshire Bike Path Council is coordinating a Berkshire Bike Tour and Bike Fun in honor of Berkshire Bike Month.
Performances for the evening include: Scoil Rince Bréifne Ó Ruairc; Kids 4 Harmony; BTG PLAYS! Touring Show: Magic Tree House: The Knight at Dawn and Andres Ramirez and the Funk Box Dance Studio.

- August – Touch-A-Truck with music by the Picky B’s sponsored by Lenco Armored Vehicles
The June-August events will feature a Beer Garden with Wandering Star Brewery.
Stay downtown for Third Thursday After Hours and take advantage of the restaurants, theatre and nightly entertainment that are always present in Downtown Pittsfield.
