SUMMARY:No-Sew Quilted Ornaments
DESCRIPTION:Do you love fabric but don’t sew? Are you interested in a new take on holiday ornaments?  In this workshop you will learn to make a beautiful fabric ornament that requires no sewing–just a foam ball\, fabric and lots of straight pins. Several fabric color/pattern options will be available.\n\n\n\n\n\nNo experience needed\, although good fine motor skills in your fingers are important. Suitable for ages 14 and up. \nREGISTRATION FEE:  $40 ($36 for HSV members) Register here \nMATERIALS FEE:  $20 materials fee (cash or Venmo\, payable directly to the instructor) \nInstructor: A basket maker since 1995\, Sandy Salada weaves a variety of baskets\, including patterns of her own design\, patterns by other teachers\, and reproductions of cultural and historical baskets. Sandy teaches basket-weaving and other classes like this one in her home studio as well as at Shaker Heritage Society in Watervliet\, New York\, and at Hancock Shaker Village.
