Terry McMaster, independent historian, presents “Colonel John Brown of Pittsfield and the Battle of Stone Arabia.” Brown was a spy, soldier, and military leader in the Revolutionary war who fought and died at the Battle of Stone Arabia in present-day Montgomery County, New York, on October 19, 1780.
